Introducing Iris
by Banjo Adesuyi

Today we're introducing Iris, the AI agent at the centre of Viro. She joins your meetings, holds the full history of every deal, and decides what needs to happen next so the work gets done while the conversation is still fresh.
We built her because most deals don't die in the meeting. They die in the days after it.
The call goes well, everyone agrees on a next step, and then the week fills up. The recap waits. The proposal waits. By the time you get to it, the person on the other side has moved on to something else. Nobody did anything wrong. There just wasn't anyone whose job it was to carry the deal forward between conversations.
That's Iris's job.

Meet Iris
Think of Iris as the person on your team who never loses the thread. She knows what was said on the first call, what the buyer pushed back on in the second, and who needs to sign off before anything moves. When something happens on a deal, she works out what comes next.
Then Viro does the work she lines up. The follow-up is written in your voice, the proposal or term sheet it needs is built and attached, and the record is updated. Iris makes sure all of it happens at the right time for the right deal.
The result is that every conversation you have turns into finished work instead of a to-do list.

What Iris does around every meeting
- Before the call. Iris pulls together everything you need to walk in prepared: the deal history, the last objection, the thing they mentioned about budget three weeks ago that you only half remember. She adds a short brief on how to play the call, so you go in with a plan.
- During the call. Iris sits in and keeps track of what gets agreed. Commitments, timelines, who else needs to be involved. You focus on the person in front of you and she handles everything else.

- After the call. This is where most deals used to stall. Once the meeting ends, the follow-up is written and the supporting document is attached, ready for you to approve while the call is still fresh in the buyer's mind. The record updates itself and the next step gets set. If someone tells you to come back in Q3, Iris remembers, and in Q3 the follow-up goes out.
Four ways she can show up
Not every meeting needs the same thing from Iris, so you choose per meeting.

- Copilot. Iris joins visibly and supports you live. You lead the conversation.
- Proxy. Can't make it? Iris joins on your behalf and runs the call within the guardrails you set, then reports back.
- Ghost. No bot in the room. Iris captures the conversation quietly through a Chrome extension, coming soon.
- Unassigned. Nothing joins and nothing is captured, for the calls that should stay off the record.
In Copilot, Proxy and Ghost, everything Iris hears feeds straight into the work that follows.

Iris on iMessage
You don't have to log in to a dashboard to keep deals moving. Iris texts you on iMessage when something needs your eyes, like a follow-up ready to go or a reminder before a call. You can text her back to get things done, or send a voice memo on the walk out of a meeting and she'll work out what you want.
When she wants to move a deal to a new stage, she asks first. Reply yes, no or wait, and that's it.
You stay in charge
Iris does the work up front and brings it to you finished. Your job is to look it over and approve it, not to remember to start it.
She also learns how you sell. Your pricing, how you handle objections, the way you write to a prospect. Over time the drafts read like you wrote them on a good day. You can set rules she'll never break, like never quoting a price without checking with you first, and nothing goes out that doesn't fit the limits you've set.
Try Iris
Iris is live in Viro today. If you're running sales yourself and you've watched good deals drift because the follow-through couldn't keep up, she was built for you.
Book a demo and we'll show you what your next meeting looks like with Iris in it.
