From the desk of the Founder
Our goal with Viro is to help companies remove the coordination around their work, so their teams can spend their time on the work itself.
I've spent most of my working life building and running my own businesses. When you start a company, you're in every conversation and you carry all of it in your head. You know who said what, what was promised, and what happens next. As the company grows, the work spreads across more people and more meetings, and that gets much harder to hold onto.
Every good conversation leaves small jobs behind it. A recap to write, a record to update, a meeting to schedule, a proposal someone's waiting on. None of it is difficult, but it adds up, and it lands on people who are already busy with their next call. Across a whole team, that means talented people spend more of their week keeping work moving than actually doing it.
The tools most teams use today are good at recording what happened and showing it back to you, but they still leave the follow-through to a person. We think the best companies will be the ones where that part runs on its own, and where people spend their time approving work rather than chasing it.
That's what Viro does. It sits in the meetings that move your business and handles what comes out of them. Iris joins the call and keeps track of what was said and agreed. Then Viro prepares what comes next, whether that's a follow-up written in your voice or the next meeting on the calendar, and brings it to you to approve. Your records stay up to date without anyone having to type them in.
We're starting with sales because that's where the cost is easiest to see. When coordination slips in sales, a deal goes quiet and often nobody notices until the end of the quarter. The same problem exists across every part of a company, though, and over time we want Viro to take on more of it.
We want Viro to earn your trust the way a new hire would, by showing you its work before it acts on its own. And anything it sends to a customer should sound like it came from you.
We're a small team, and we're building this closely with the people who use it. If you run a company and any of this sounds familiar, I'd love to hear from you.
